Woohoo! Free pictures!

Forrest and I were at Walmart today when a lady started gushing over Forrest and asking when I last had his pictures taken . . . she worked in the photo studio and wouldn't you know it, you can get a free session and 10x13 print. Who am I to turn down free photos of my beautiful child?! A 5-minute shopping trip turned into a 2-hour photo session, but whatever. He's adorable. Here are some of the shots that didn't make the cut for the free print, but are awesome anyway.

I'm usually not a fan of the whole staged photo with props, but I love these two in the tub:

 

The photographer said she couldn't understand why babies were always so cheerful right up until she started taking the pictures, when they all inexplicably burst into tears. I thought to myself, Forrest won't do that, but look!

And I think I figured out why she has that problem . . . she didn't speak, she shouted. And she didn't laugh, she cackled. Like a witch. I almost cried myself.
